Edge or end condition
- Edge or end condition is confirmed from the product form, standard and downstream fabrication need.
Testing and inspection
- Tests required by the governing purchased standard.
- PMI, NDE, corrosion, roughness or other supplementary inspection only when specified and confirmed in the quotation.
Order documents
- Inspection document type and content as ordered.
- Heat or lot traceability and supplementary reports when included in the accepted inspection plan.
Export packaging
- Export packing selected for product form, finish, dimensions, weight and transport route.
- Film, caps, interleaving, skids, cases or moisture protection only as confirmed in the order.
Coil route and surface
Cold-rolled 2B is the general fabrication condition; BA is used where a brighter base surface helps appearance or forming. Hot-rolled and pickled coil serves heavier-gauge processing. Decorative polish should be defined by sample, grain direction and film.
Slit and cut-to-length supply
Provide finished width or sheet length, tolerance, edge, coil ID, target weight and surface protection. Flatness and residual coil set for laser blanks should be specified separately from basic dimensional tolerance.
Grade verification
Molybdenum-bearing 316L is visually indistinguishable from 304. PMI and heat-number traceability can be included in the inspection plan before processing and shipment.
