Dimensions and Tolerances

ThicknessTypical reference only: 0.05–1.5 mm, subject to specification review. Confirm the ordered range and supply route in the quotation.
WidthTypical reference only: 5–600 mm. Confirm the ordered range and supply route in the quotation.
Order basisGoverning product and dimensional standard, delivery condition and any drawing-specific limits.
Special tolerancesMust be stated in the RFQ and accepted in the quotation before production.

Published ranges are technical references, not a live-stock or production-capability promise. The final range, MOQ and delivery schedule are confirmed in the quotation.

Edge or end condition

  • Slit, deburred or conditioned edge; final condition as ordered.

Testing and inspection

  • Tests required by the governing purchased standard.
  • PMI, NDE, corrosion, roughness or other supplementary inspection only when specified and confirmed in the quotation.

Order documents

  • Inspection document type and content as ordered.
  • Heat or lot traceability and supplementary reports when included in the accepted inspection plan.

Export packaging

  • Export packing selected for product form, finish, dimensions, weight and transport route.
  • Film, caps, interleaving, skids, cases or moisture protection only as confirmed in the order.

Temper is part of the grade decision

Annealed 304 is selected for deep forming, while cold-worked 304 or 301 supplies higher spring strength. State the required tensile or hardness range and forming route rather than ordering only by a commercial temper name.

Slitting inputs

The production plan needs finished width and tolerance, thickness, edge class, camber requirement, coil ID and OD, maximum coil weight, winding direction and surface protection. Burr limits depend on thickness, temper and edge-processing route.

Traceability

Slit coils are identified back to the master coil and heat or lot documentation. Critical stampings can use an agreed sampling and mechanical-test plan.
