Edge or end condition
- Edge or end condition is confirmed from the product form, standard and downstream fabrication need.
Testing and inspection
- Tests required by the governing purchased standard.
- PMI, NDE, corrosion, roughness or other supplementary inspection only when specified and confirmed in the quotation.
Order documents
- Inspection document type and content as ordered.
- Heat or lot traceability and supplementary reports when included in the accepted inspection plan.
Export packaging
- Export packing selected for product form, finish, dimensions, weight and transport route.
- Film, caps, interleaving, skids, cases or moisture protection only as confirmed in the order.
Seamless vs welded — when it matters
Seamless A312 pipe removes the weld seam as a variable: preferred for higher pressure ratings, aggressive media, and codes or client specs that simply require it. When the governing specification permits either route, request separate seamless and welded quotations for the same size, schedule and tests.
Verification you can hold
When positive material identification is required, define the lot scope, method, acceptance criteria and report in the RFQ. The accepted inspection and document plan must also state the required heat traceability, EN 10204 document type and pressure-test records.
Sizing help
Schedule dimensions and per-meter weights are available through the weight calculator; full 316L chemistry and equivalents are on the 316L datasheet.
