Quote opening, wire and weave together
Send clear aperture, wire diameter, weave and tolerance with mesh count. Square, twill and Dutch constructions are quoted as separate routes. Include flow direction and support condition from the equipment drawing.
Quote converted parts separately from rolls
Send finished geometry, gasket seat, frame interface and acceptance method when the mesh is part of a filter element. We quote slit, disc or panel conversion against those inputs.
Quote packing for fine apertures
Send clean handling, protective wrap, core support, pallet or case format and item marking. 316L is quoted where process service needs the extra corrosion margin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are clear aperture and wire diameter both needed for woven mesh?
Mesh count alone cannot distinguish constructions with different opening and wire section. State clear aperture, wire diameter, weave and tolerance together so filtration, pressure drop and support calculations use the actual structure.
When should I choose a Dutch weave instead of square weave?
Dutch weaves are often quoted for filtration behavior and directional construction rather than a simple square opening. Send retention, flow direction, support and cleaning basis; we quote that weave.
Can a mesh roll be supplied as cut panels or discs?
Conversion can be quoted. Send edge, flatness, cut tolerance, orientation and local opening change against the drawing so we can quote finished panels or discs.
How should 316L mesh be cleaned and packed?
State oil-free or clean handling, cleaning method, surface acceptance, protective wrap, core or panel support and moisture control. The accepted order should identify the document or cleanliness record required, if any.
