Define both opening and wire
Mesh count by itself does not define performance. State clear aperture, wire diameter, weave and allowable variation. Dutch weaves are normally selected by filtration behavior and construction rather than a simple square opening.
Grade and cleanliness
316L adds chloride resistance for washdown and process environments; 304 remains suitable for many dry and general applications. State cleaning, oil-free handling, food-contact or validation requirements before production.
Converted mesh
Rolls can be slit or cut into discs and panels. Edge treatment, flatness and dimensional tolerance depend on weave stiffness and part geometry and are confirmed after drawing review.
